im gonna show some of the random stuff ive made in vrchat and also some "booth edits" ive made. or more like kitbashed together lol. mostly just random shader stuff and small things, eventually i want to 3d model stuff from scratch




placeable jimmy prop

my homie jimmy. aka the sunman from the vrchat game "fish!". this was 3d modeled and textuered by amelia so credit to her!!! all i did was the toggles and world placing, i was trying to use poi yomi shaders to make it "look at" the player constantly but thats not done yet




Space arm

this uses a cubemap to make the arm look like space, then i drew a mask so it covered the lower arm. im using dissolves to make the edge look animated slightly instead of a harsh cut off. i first seen this effect from the poiyomi twitter account and wanted to recreat it in poi yomi 9.0, not as good but still pretty decent. also yes you can put any image in there, most look very zoomed in tho




Glass body/mold body

this is a really simple body mask for my avatar, but i made it using some blender plugin to bassically paint the mask onto the mesh wich is pretty good, ive never done that method before, usually i just draw the mask in krita over the body texture but i always get wierd warping. i heard substance painter was good for doing this, but im broke so this blender addon was a good alternative, even if i still dont fully know how to use it. also the glass effect is just the poi yomi grab pass with some blur and refraction, nothing crazy. the other effects use the poi yomi cube map kinda like the space arm.

this uses audio link and some sort of lil toon effect, honestly i dont even remember how i made this, i made it years ago.


paralax sunglasses

made this a little after i made the jacket. it uses the paralax from poi yomi shaders. i litterally just messed around with the sliders and it looked cool






glitchy

this is old, and i could probobly make it better. but it uses vertex glitching to make it glitch. then the materials are desaturated to look black and white. it also has this screen effect, like a tv screen up close. the screen shader is made with june 5.0, just some simple glitch fx and data mosh. good thing its a toggle cuz it hurts my eyes sometimes :3
